Knowledge-Based Control Systems (SC42050)

The lectures will be broadcasted via teleconference to TU/e and UTwente, you can watch them live in the assigned lecture rooms. They are also recorded on Collegerama where you can see the live lectures with a 2 min delay and also the recorded lectures. The direct links will be posted on the Materials page before the lecture. TU Delft students can also use the regular Collegerama page.

Rules for the exam:

Read carefully the instructions below.

• Write clearly your name and student number on each sheet you hand in.

• Read carefully each question prior to formulating an answer. You are not allowed to use the course lecture notes, books, your own notes and other aids (except for non-programmable calculators).

• Never talk to your fellow students: violation of this rule will result in an immediate termination of your exam.

• The questions are formulated in English, answers should be also in English. Motivate each answer, write down your reasoning. For each question, the maximum number of points you can get is indicated in parentheses (total =100). The number of points gained will determine the final mark.

A few notes on the literature assignment:

• Length of the report: “The paper must be written in a two-column, using the 11-point Times Roman font, single spaced and must be between two and four pages in length.” (see description p. 4)

• Symposium (Delft students): Attendance of the symposium is mandatory for the whole group, for the whole block (1 hour) your group is scheduled in.

• Symposium (Eindhoven and Twente students): You are welcome to come to Delft for the symposium. Alternatively, if you are in a mixed group, it is sufficient if the Delft students present and attend. The third option is to send in a recorded presentation (e.g., YouTube) and we'll also do the Q&A after the presentation online.
